This limited edition piece is inspired by sacred geometries and patterns in nature. These sculptural star tetrahedron pendants are from the John Brevard Verahedra series. The interlocking hedral geometries of the Verahedra series are reminiscent of Euclidean geometries and ancient architecture from the Egyptian, Mayan and Sumerian temples.
About the Designer:
John Brevard applies his background in architecture and multidisciplinary arts to create ethereal designs that are not only visually stunning but also conceptually powerful. Inspired by the principles of natural order, each creation is symbolic of the inseparable relationship of the part to the whole.
After a near death experience, Brevard developed a fascination with proportions and patterns found in nature and theoretical sciences, namely sacred geometry and phenomenology. Brevard manifests this vision through an experience, which encompasses and merges design, fashion, architecture, and technology for an integrated new world.
The Verahedra collection features a series of complex and interlocking geometries, reminiscent of Euclidean geometry and ancient architecture from Egyptian, Mayan, and Sumerian temples. These geometries are found in fractal ancient architecture around the world. Derived from the Latin words vera (“truth”) and hedron (“number of sides”), this collection was created to channel Strength and Power, characteristic of those monumental structures from our past.
Verahedra collection sterling silver pendant necklace.
